Since 2002, in order to promote local and out of town attendance at Durango special events, the Durango Business Improvement District has been pleased to present Event Marketing grants to:
- Durango Double
- Durango Independent Film Festival
- Durango Bluegrass Meltdown
- Music on Mountains
- Durango Art Center “Art on Main”
- Durango Wine Experience
- Durango Cowboy Gathering
- Durango Arts & Crafts Conference
The purpose of the grants is to stimulate and support business in the District, by assisting special events in their marketing, promotion and ability to attract new visitors to Durango.
The BID grants (ranging in amounts from $500 to $10,000 max) are designated marketing funds for organizations to use to broadly promote their events to attract more business to Durango retail shops, restaurants, hotels, and tourist sites.
